WINTER FOLKSTYLE SESSION FOR GRADES K-6

• Session Dates: 1/6/25-3/12/25

• Practice Location: Petaluma Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall, 175 Fairgrounds Drive

• Practices: Mondays and Wednesdays

• Practice times and age groups (wrestlers should be in kindergarten or age 5 by session start):

  • K-2nd grade session, 5:30pm-6:30pm

  • 3rd-6th grade session, 6:30pm-7:45pm

• Tournaments: We will be attending weekend tournaments and will get the schedule out to registrants when it is available. Tournaments are optional but encouraged. They are a lot of fun!

• Cost: $150

• USA Wrestling Membership Required: All athletes in the winter session must purchase a USA Wrestling Membership at this link before the first practice. We will send out an additional communication closer to our start date to ask for confirmation of your wrestler's membership. The membership is required for insurance purposes, and is also needed for tournaments and some special events that may arise. It is $70.

• Equipment: Wrestlers will need wrestling shoes as street shoes are not allowed on the mats. Wrestlers who do not have wrestling shoes need to wear socks on the mat. Grip socks are best. We try to have used wrestling shoes on hand to borrow and there is a possibility that we will have a pair available in your wrestler's size when practices begin - if you have trouble accessing shoes, please let us know. Headgear is strongly recommended.
