2025 ADVANCED SPRING FREESTYLE/GRECO SEASON FOR EXPERIENCED HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLERS
JUNIOR HIGH AND ELEMENTARY WRESTLERS WITH SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE AND FOCUS MAY JOIN
This advanced session is for serious high school wrestlers with experience seeking an intensive Freestyle/Greco season with high level practice instruction and a robust tournament schedule to include local events, Reno Worlds (Reno is Folkstyle) and CALUSA Wrestling state events. Elementary and junior high school wrestlers can join this session if they are very focused and have significant higher level practice and tournament experience, such as having been a fully active, competing member of the PWC Black fall team or another organized competitive wrestling team. Session instruction will have scope and sequence, be fast-paced and focused on advanced technique. Kids in grades K-8 who are still developing beginner and intermediate wrestling skills and want to stay active wrestling in the spring should join PWC's Spring Freestyle Session for all skill levels linked here.
Because of limited space and the importance of consistency in wrestling progress for both individual wrestlers and their practice partners in the room, wrestlers who sign up for this session should be fully committed to their wrestling development and able to attend the majority of practices. Local tournaments are suggested for everyone, and higher-level travel events are encouraged for more experienced wrestlers where feasible. This is a fantastic opportunity for wrestlers who wish to enhance their overall wrestling skills through off season training in Freestyle and Greco or those who simply have a passion for practicing and competing in these styles. The session will include some Folkstyle training in advance of Reno Worlds.
