Mission Statement:
The Petaluma Wrestling Club is committed to the character development of young people through the sport of wrestling. PWC is more than a club - it is a cohesive community. With dedicated coaches, supportive parents and committed family involvement, we will strive to instill joy for the sport of wrestling in all of our athletes.
Goals and Objectives:
- Instruct in proper fundamentals and safe wrestling techniques
- Help develop a strong competitive spirit while fostering and maintaining the highest levels of good sportsmanship
- Promote and develop a strong team concept
- Promote the values of hard work, ethical competition, friendship, respect for team and opponents and high academic standards
- Compete in various local, regional, state and national competitions as the coaches deem appropriate
